I really dislike these parts. I have 2 children that keep me hopping, and 3 cats that try to trip me on the stairs every morning.
I have been trying to do some projects around the house but have been getting furstated by the total lack of right angles anywhere. It really messes up my designs :)
I love the sunrise and the quite of 4 am though I don't often see either. I love the smell of spring rains and the feel of ice cold winter winds.

I am a first year ph. d. student in Civil Engineering at Penn State. I have a wide array of interests and tastes, and I enjoy pushing my comfort zone to try new things (although my comfort zone is a nice place for me to stay most of the time). I'm currently working for AccuWeather as a Meteorological Programmer. I received my BS in Meteorology from Penn State in 2004 and I have been in State College ever since. Up until college, I spent my whole life living in South Jersey (right outside of Philly).

Iâ??ve lived a fairly normal life. Born to a suburban middle-class family, went to college and graduated after 4.5 years with a double major in biology/psychology and promptly went on to never use those degrees again. Iâ??m zooming past the first 21 years of my life because to a certain degree I donâ??t think they represent what Iâ??m really like. After graduating from college I really felt like Iâ??d spent too much of my youth experiencing the world only through books and computers instead of just going out and just seeing things for myself. I spent some time backpacking in the US and Europe, and then spent a few years as an English teacher in Japan (interestingly enough, a job that requires neither a degree in English nor a working knowledge of Japanese).

In between these trips I made money at a number of assorted jobs, usually working outside during the summer at local fruit farms, landscaping companies, etc. and spending the winters working temp jobs if I had to. Iâ??ve had people tell me that my current life-style is directionless, but honestly Iâ??ve never felt healthier and happier and I seem to surviving.

I like to spend my free time outside whether it be hiking, running, playing ultimate Frisbee with friends, it really doesnâ??t matter. I like to do something active everyday even if itâ??s just running around the block when I wake up in the morning. I have my family they are really close to me, well most of them. I'm one of 5 children, and I have my nephews.. They are pretty much my world. My nephews are 20 months old, born April 21st 2008, twin boys. Funny story. My brother always joked when she got pregnant that she would have the boys on 4/20.. What can I say he was a pot head? Her due date was suppose to be sometime in June (I forget the exact date, they say the boys were 6 weeks early though). She woke him up on the 20th saying that she thought she was in labor. He thought that she was just joking so he rolled over and went back to sleep. It wasn't until about 20 minutes later when she was beating him with their to go bag, that he realized that she was serious. Of course then after him rushing her to the local hospital, they flew her to a bigger hospital that could actually do something for her. As soon as she got there (even though it looked as if things were all set to go) they put her on a potassium drip to stop the contractions. So he was almost right about when they would be born if it wasn't for the damn hospital. He use to say that all the good kids are born on the 8th of the month, I wonder if he has changed his mind now that he has kids.
They are cute and adorable and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Seriously, my brother has had offers to sale them for a million dollars a piece, but they won't sale them. I say thats some good parenting.

I use to care what people thought about me, but i realized i cant be perfect in everyone's eyes, only mine. Id put everyone's happiness before mine, and it cost me a lot. But i think there is a breaking point in everyone's life, when your faced with 2 decisions, you have no choice, but to choose.. And i think that's where people finally decided what they want, and strive to do what makes them happy. I think i have hit that point in my life, and now im much happier because of it. I owe everything to my friends and family. I am absolutely nothing without them. If you were to ask me what my favorite thing in the whole world is to do, Id say "To Laugh". Its the one thing that's makes you feel alive. And for that split second, you don't think of your problems or bad memories. Your completely enthralled in that single moment, whomever your sharing it with. Its beautiful. I also think things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, even if not always in the way we expect. I know its happened to me. I believe in family coming first. Education is important. All work and no play is not a good way to live. Sex should be meaningful and is meant to bring people closer together. I like people who are honest, funny, caring, considerate, charming, and awesome. ;) I feel that in order for two people to have a meaningful relationship they should have similar beliefs in life. Two of my major pet peeves are REALLY bad spelling/grammar (there is a spell check on this thing after all) and guys who act macho just to have people think they are manly. Chivalry should not be as dead as it is and it doesn't make you a sissy, or whatever word you might want to use there, if you participate in it.

Living and working in State College, which is a great place but meeting people in the late 20s/early 30s is slim around here.

Well the bottom line is, I'm laid back and like to have fun. I enjoy playing volleyball, golf, and the outdoors. I like to hit up a concert, or a Pens game as well. I like to stay busy, but enjoy chilling at home with a movie too.

I enjoy music and wish there were more original bands i the area. I play guitar, though I am not particularly adept at it yet. I appreciate the power and joy of artistic expression, and I'm open to the simple joys life has to offer.

After graduating from Penn State, couldn't bring myself to leave. I have a good local job and a place of my own. I hang out with my tight knit group of friends, which is good because there's always something going on. However, the downside of that is that I meet few new people, including that special someone. I'm a nice guy who is who would like to meet a nice girl to spend time with and make laugh. I enjoy cooking for friends, bad movies, and going out downtown. I'm fairly easygoing, and can laugh and joke about anything.

I've traveled abroad quite a bit and plan on seeing Eastern Europe and Scandinavia next big trip. My weekends are usually spent with friends tailgating, cooking out, watching movies, or doing something outside to fit the season.

I like TV and film that inspire thought and conversation as well as just pure entertainment. I like going to the few punk rock shows that our town gets, but I have a wide ranging, eclectic taste for music.

I am a better listener than a conversation starter. Nothing is more attractive to me than an intelligent girl with an open mind and strong, well thought out opinions. I'd like someone who can debate politics or philosophy without taking personal offense to those who feel differently about something.

I'm a bit of a geek, but (if you haven't figured it out already) that can be good thing.

Adventurous. I want to live the shit out of life! I'm a big fan of nerds who wear bullet-proof glasses and perhaps the occasional pocket-protector(?). I really love life and want to wrench all of the awesome experiences I possibly can from it.
Love hiking, bike riding (just got a recumbent trike), and playing with things whose appeal lies normally in the 5 year old's domain.
Inquisitive by nature, I love learning new concepts and debating political or philosophical points - ad nauseum. As often told, I have a bit of a corny sense of humor (but starch is good for you, right?). Precisely.
Photography has been my most recent hobby, and I'm currently pretty enamored with time lapse video and similar technical photography. I like art, but am more entertained by the question "Why do I like art?"
My favorite TV shows (actually Hulu) are The Office, 30 Rock, and the SNL digital shorts (I'm On a Boat!). I'm not a huge fan of horror movies or sad dramas, but do like the depth of movies that raise serious questions - unlike one of my favorites "Old School".
I play the cello, and play along with Yo Yo Ma on my stereo to convince myself that I'm a world class cellist. I dabble in the piano and drums and also play a little bass guitar. I love to jam out with anyone willing. Awesome: Dave Matthews Band, Beck, Radiohead, John Mayer, Keane, and Beck. Not Awesome: Kelly Clarkson.
Summed up, I love to have fun, explore new things, discuss substantive ideas, and observe how we change and adapt with each experience.

I'm a 29 year-old native of northern New Jersey. I originally grew up in a large town called Wayne, which is about 20 miles from Manhattan. I've been living in Pennsylvania for the past 6 years where I've been pursuing my master's and doctoral studies.

Currently a senior at Penn State with a major in Communications. I live in a very cold house off campus (damn you winter), but it's close to campus so I don't mind so much. I like to hang around and watch movies, and check to see what's going on around campus. Beyond that you can catch me sleeping or going to the gym/pool.

I love cacophonies of sound.

I love walking for long distances in the sweltering heat with a camel back. Then I justify sweating.

I love/hate the fact that I'm losing my hair at a early age. I can't get the hair that I would love, but it makes me wonder what I'll look at when it stops falling out.

I love wearing thin T-shirts in the freezing cold. It gets you some crazy looks.

I love when I get random chest pain. It reminds me I'm not dead yet.

I love that I'm taking my time getting to my goals, it helps me walk a path that I can adjust plus I get to see the sights when I walk that road.

I love my brother. Look at him the wrong way, and God will weep at what happens next.

I start losing weight if I sleep too long. I <3 my body.

I have average sight, but my hearing is super sensitive (i.e headaches from sound) and I can follow any smell. Yes, I am really a dog in a humans body.
