I have always chosen Midas for car repair and oil changes in their State College, PA store and have always relied on them when I have lived here for my 18 years.
When I work there for a long time, I always bring my own folding chair, because I have no space to sit. It's a tiny thing with arms and as a tall person I can't sit comfortably on it, so I always bring it with me when I go there.
I took the car for an oil change and a tyre spin and they asked me to take a quick look at it to see what might be coming. I thought maybe I had a flat tyre or something wrong with the brakes. There was a kind of pebble trap on the front left side of the steering wheel that caused the noise I heard.
I always drive my Honda to other places and make adjustments, but never more than the other place. There were times when I couldn't repair the car properly, and sometimes I was too busy to get it fixed. I tried to tell them that I needed it in one of the two places mentioned above that did not have time to go there.
They explain everything in a simple way, find the best - inexpensive - parts and are always very pleasant to be part of. Over the years, their work has always been great, they always do a good job and get it out on time. Their work is first class and they can always be found working with Matt, who works behind the desk and helps with all their services.
The reason I've stayed with Midas over the years is because I trust them to do what they say they have to do. They are very honest and always in charge of the list, they make their estimates in advance and trust their diction, which makes me doubt them.

This is a trusted company that has been looking after my vehicle for thirty to six years. In my opinion, any profit-driven company that stops making unnecessary repairs and wasting money is an honest shop. These guys have repeatedly stopped me from wasting my money and are one of the best repair shops I have ever been allowed to do business with.
If you need mechanical work and are afraid to trust a mechanic because you are going there alone, don't hesitate to contact Midas. They provide a great service, they know what they're doing and they never try to overdo it - they charge for things you don't need or do things the place isn't suitable for.
You will continue to have your vehicle serviced at this location and ask you to take care of your car as long as you stay at this location. I love the man who does the work, the quality of service and customer service of Midas Auto Repair.
For many years, I have been getting excellent treatment and repair work at State College Midas. They are among the best in the state in terms of window repair and government inspections, and the quality of their services.
The last time I was there, someone had a problem with a tire and I was told to, but they quickly found the problem and charged me nothing for their time. They do not charge you for something that takes just minutes to determine, or charge the technician for something that goes beyond what they are charged for the time it took.
The quality of the repair is extremely competent, all options are comprehensively presented and explained, and the work is always of high quality and completed on time and within the original cost estimate. Prices are very reasonable, with print and online vouchers and discounts that make the experience even better. It is the same work that is done by local car dealers, but much less expensive and much more efficient. Midas has the option to use the college's guarantee to stay at the college for at least 20 years.
If you have more stars than I can choose, please give most stars above and most stars below to the next higher star.
I recently took my van for an inspection and found a problem that the garage couldn't find perfect and repaired at no extra charge. The Midas team were on point, and even took care of the cost. I came across it when I was trying to adapt and, to be honest, I tell you: If you need to repair your Jeep or your Freedom, you can't do better than this. We have specified exactly what needs to be repaired without incurring additional costs
I appreciate the fact that many mechanics in the car industry assume that this woman did not know about the vehicle and therefore tried to exploit it. While Midas was working on my car, he turned up and took me to the garage because he encountered an unexpected problem. I was swaying between the front and back cars, trying not to sway too far in the wrong direction in front of him, and he was just on his way out when he heard a noise from the back car.
